Francesco Ragazzi, an Italian photographer and Moncler art director, started Palm Angels as a photography book project. The book, titled "Palm Angels," captured the skateboard culture in Los Angeles and featured images of skaters in Venice Beach. The success of the book inspired Ragazzi to launch the Palm Angels fashion label, extending the brand's vision into apparel.
