Paly Hollywood was co-founded in 2020 by James Franco, an actor and artist known for roles in the Spider-Man trilogy and The Disaster Artist, and Kyle Lindgren, a fashion designer with a background at Fucking Awesome. The brand’s name merges Franco’s hometown, Palo Alto, California, with Lindgren’s vision of Hollywood’s gritty allure, supported by guidance from Lindgren’s father in building the business. Paly Hollywood is a DIY punk-inspired luxury streetwear label that explores the dark underbelly of Hollywood, blending cinematic storytelling with vintage aesthetics.
